Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Varun Arasu ("we", "us"), who runs Exclusif. By creating an account or using Exclusif you agree to them. If you use Exclusif for a company, you confirm you can agree for it, and "you" means the company too.
Early access
Exclusif is in early access. It is free to use for now, features may change, and we may limit or end early access. We will not charge you without your agreement, and we will tell you in advance before any paid plan applies to your account.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give a working email address.
- Keep your runtime keys, sign-in codes, and connected credentials secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account and keys. Revoke a key as soon as you think it has leaked.
Your users and their data
- You own the data you and your users put into Exclusif. You let us store and process it only to provide the service to you.
- You are responsible for telling your users, in your own privacy policy, that you use Exclusif to manage access, and for having a lawful basis to process their information and to send them the access emails Exclusif sends on your behalf.
- When you send email through your own email-provider account, you must also follow that provider's terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use Exclusif to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- send spam, or email people who did not ask for access to your app;
- collect information you are not allowed to collect;
- probe, overload, or get around the security of Exclusif or other customers' projects;
- resell or white-label Exclusif without our written permission.
We may suspend a project or account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we can.
Budgets and credits
Exclusif decides and records who gets access and what grant they were given, under the settings you choose. Your app is responsible for enforcing those grants and for what your users actually consume. You remain responsible for all costs you incur with your own providers, including AI and email providers.
Availability
We work to keep Exclusif running but do not guarantee it will be available without interruption during early access. Build your integration so that people already admitted can keep using your app if Exclusif is unreachable, as described in the docs.
Ending
You can stop using Exclusif at any time and ask us to delete your account and projects. We may end these terms or your access if you break them or if we stop offering Exclusif, with reasonable notice where we can give it, so you can export your data.
Disclaimers
Exclusif is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim about Exclusif is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, email account owners before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Exclusif after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
